Anime Expo? I don't know what you're talking about.
I realize I didn't post a blog about AX - you know, that thing all the nerds get excited for.
And theres a good reason for it.
I hated it. I've been going to the convention for 6 years and it has never been that bad. And with it in the LA convention center next year, I will not be attending. And possibly never again.
We don't have many pictures from it because it was just too hot to bother.
So here's the Trusty Bell costumes we promised. Just not with us in them.
I'll have to take pictures of the shoes later, because they were awesome.
Jeez, all I seem to do now when I go to a convention is complain. Maybe I'm getting old.
I also seem to have developed a new allergy since then or possibly started then. Now, I can't be out in the heat without having a reaction. I even had to get a rush doctor's appointment for a shot.
Can I write off our AC bill as a medical expense now? ;o

We don't cosplay for attention. I loved the designs and had a great time playing the game and just wanted to make the costume. So, no, I don't cater to "photographers."

In spite of your cosplay ethics the both of you were very quick to write me off as "just one person" a photographer even, that alone is a shame. Was it that hard to say "We're not ready yet." ? It would've shed some light as to why the two of you were declining a simple request. You didn't know I was extremely stoked with what I saw, so excited to see something different in a sea of NaruBleach Fantasy, and overall, couldn't care less what was missing. Why else would I ask you? You say you don't cosplay for attention, but does rudeness and a disregard to others come with that package? If you liked Yoshioka's designs, and had a great time playing it, wouldn't you think I did too? Why else would I ask you?
It's a pity you assume so much about everything, maybe if you didn't you'd have some fun at a con again. It's what kept me away, that and people like you.
I am sorry that you seem to think I have wrong you in some way by not stopping and posing for a picture that we weren't ready for. Like I said, you caught us at a bad time when we didn't have a complete costume.
Are you going to care if I say that we waited ten minutes for someone to run and get their camera so they can take a picture? Probably not. Because you're selfish. You seem to think you were robbed of something and you're taking it out on complete strangers. I'd expect this from someone younger than me. Not someone three years older.
You really have some growing up to do. And if you comment again, I'll report you since you seemed to have made this account just to harass me about a photo.
