What's that junk stuff that you put ton him to make his hair?!

Sculpy :D You know, that clay that you bake. Only I didn't bake him (he'd melt), I just stuck him in a pot of boiling water for a few minutes.

i came across these pictures on google and decided to try to make him myself since your's is so amazing, i was wondering if you could give me a tip on how to boil him while keeping the hair the right shape? or how to boil him in general (i am completely new to this). i'd really really really appreciate it.
